Gullible Store Employees Fall For Prank Call, Destroys Store As They Were Told to Do
The Donkeys of the Year (so far) are the two Circle K store employees who destroyed the store because someone over the phone told them to. According to police in Globe, Arizona a prankster, claiming to be Circle K corporate security, called the store and told the employees a silent fire alarm was going off. The caller told the two geniuses to discharge a fire extinguisher into this imaginary fire then once they were done, throw the extinguishers through the store's glass pane windows. Which they did. The caller then told the employees to destroy the store's computer. They realized they were the butt of someone joke, but by then the store (which was filed with customers at the time) was completely destroyed and is now closed. It's unclear whether the two donkeys were fired. Hee-haw!
