17-year-old Car Thief Films Himself Singing Along to Drake While Driving Stolen Vehicle
Social media strikes again. A 17-year-old professional car thief left damaging evidence in his cellphone after recording himself singing and rapping inside of a stolen vehicle in Texas. According to La Porte police Kenneth Davis from Houston is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and burglary of a motor vehicle. He was arrested after cops observed three pickup trucks driving without the headlights shortly before 4 a.m. Monday. As officers attempted to stop the vehicles, the third truck stopped, but the front two sped away. Additional officers began pursuit of the fleeing vehicles while Kenneth, who was driving the first truck, stopped and was taken into police custody. One of the trucks was found abandoned, but the other was never recovered. The abandoned truck and the truck Kenneth was driving were both found to have damaged steering columns, indicative of auto theft. Police said an authorized search of the Kenneth's cellphone revealed his alleged involvement in other area car thefts. In one video clip (watch, below), Kenneth is seen singing along to Drake's "How About Now" to himself and taking selfies while inside a stolen vehicle. The video also showed other individuals who could be responsible for area car thefts, police said. Hee-haw!
