This gentleman from Alliance, Ohio is, as we say in the sane world, not very bright.
An Alliance man may regret a decision to make a 911 call Wednesday night. Robert Daniel Collins, 39, of 1793 Westwood Ave., Apt. F, was arrested at 11:23 p.m. on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and misuse of 911, both fourth-degree misdemeanors, after calling to report his wife stole his cocaine. When officers arrived, they found Collins, who had an active warrant for failure to pay fines and costs on a Canton Municipal Court case, in possession of an alleged marijuana pipe. Collins was taken into custody and then transported to Stark County Jail, where he was booked and released on his own recognizance. Alliance Municipal Court Judge Andrew J. Zumbar will arraign Collins at 1 p.m. Friday. If convicted of these latest charges, he faces up to 60 days in jail plus $500 in fines. According to the online case docket, Collins failed to pay a $25 fine and $589 worth of costs associated with a speeding and driving under suspension case as well as completing court-ordered supervised community service.Idiot.
