Shopping malls may close - for good

CNN is reporting that General Growth Properties Inc. may file for bankruptcy.

The company operates more than 200 malls in 44 states, including the Paramus Mall in New Jersey and Glendale Galleria, in California.

If things don't pick up, GCP could tank and if it doesn't secure new financing all of their mall properties could shut down.
