Blind Item - Who is This Paranoid NBA Player with a Drinking Problem

A few years ago, this NBA star, who plays for a team who won a recent championship, used to date this non-black woman who claimed she descended from royalty. He was impressed, over time, he gave her his AMEX black card to shop with, her limit was $10,000 per shopping excursion.

Away from the court, he spent a lot of time with her in his Bel Air mansion. While he was on the road, a relative called him and said, "One of your homes has been burglarized, the one in Bel Air."

Only later would he learn the truth: This woman was actually a prostitute who worked for a pimp and all the money he gave her was turned over to her pimp - who was also behind the home burglary. The pimp always got her tickets to NBA events so she could target wealthy black athletes.

Needless to say, this NBA star dumped her.

Next, he set his sights on a light-skinned black woman (the source for this story) who he met in a bar, because in his words: He only dates light, biracial or white. She left with him, she said he was a paranoid wreck, he kept muttering under his breath, "Ain't no n**gas gonna jack me." She also said, he drove with a gun on his lap as they made their way to his home and he took all of these alternate routes to throw her off so she couldn't remember how they got to his house.

Once inside the house, she then realized, he was an alcoholic who polished off an entire bottle of liquor. He then asked her to refresh a new drink for him. She went to the bar, she turned around facing him, he had a weird look on his face, she asked him was anything wrong, he slurred, yeah! I'm standing here, to make sure you don't try and poison my drink. After she gave him his drink, he stumbled back to the couch and dialed a number on his cell phone.

Thirty minutes later, another woman showed up. He slurred: I want a three way. The source declined and the other woman left.

The NBA star fell asleep. She slept on the couch, in the morning, she awoke to the player pointing a gun at her and shouting: "Shorty, who the fuck are you, where you come from, you break in my house?"

She had to remind him that they had met in a bar the night before. He finally settled down and lowered the gun.

He then started scrambling, saying he was looking for some lost cash. She told him, he hid it, along with his watch (gold Rolex) underneath the couch she had slept on. He was impressed that she hadn't tried to steal it but she wasn't impressed with his erratic behavior and asked him to take her home.

The next week, he blew her cell up with constant calls. She couldn't understand how he had gotten her number, she had never given it to him and it was unlisted. Since she wouldn't take his calls, he showed up her house announced, again, she was put off, because she had never given him her home address. He told her, since the incident with the prostitute, he had all women checked out. He even knew where she worked.

His behavior spooked her. He finally grew tired of her ignoring his calls and finally left her alone.

Hint: One of the NBA player's homes is located in Southern California but he doesn't play for the Lakers. Some consider him a superstar but his name isn't as marquee as other NBA superstars but he's still well-known in the sport.
