Supermodel Arrested for Threatening Her Plastic Surgeon

French-Dutch supermodel Karen Mulder isn't walking the Parisian runways today, she's sitting in one that city's cold jail cells after threatening her plastic surgeon.

According to police, Karen called her surgeon repeatedly to reverse an unnamed cosmetic procedure. She "was screaming and shouting about the operation and became extremely threatening," report the Telepgraph.

As an in-demand model in the '90s, Karen made $20,000 per day, but in 2001 she checked into a psych ward citing chronic depression and and an addiction to prescription painkillers. A year later she overdosed on sleeping pills.
