Stephon Marbury Sheds 'Happy Tears'

Boston Celtics free agent guard Stephon Marbury ran a live Web cam broadcast that he began Friday morning around 6 a.m. and said it would to go on for a full 24 hours. And it did. At about 8:30 Saturday morning, after hours of dancing, screaming at the computer, eating Vaseline and chatting with hundreds of fans, he played a Kirk Franklin song. That immediately triggered something and he started bawling. Luckily, his friend Cricket was there to console him.

“Happy tears. Happy tears. Happy tears. Happy tears,” he told the people watching.

Who knows why exactly he was crying. Did the song trigger something we're not aware of? Did it have to do with his father who died of a heart attack while watching him play at Madison Square Garden in December 2007? Whatever the case, real men do cry.
