Charlotte police are looking for a transsexual who allegedly robbed a 99¢ store, but she just recently got some new boobs and won't surrender until after everything has healed. At least that's what she said.
Mitchelle E. Anthony is wanted in connection with a robbery at a Family Dollar.
According to police Mitchelle, who's 5-feet-6 and weighs 230 pounds, stole about $48 worth of Gain laundry detergent.
Mitchelle and an accomplice - another transsexual - tried to run down a witness with their car as they fled the scene.
The witness suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Police say Mitchelle actually called in, knowing that he's wanted, and said he'll turn himself in once he recovers from breast augmentation surgery. But police say they've heard from Mitchelle's friends who say he's already on the mend and is just evading arrest.
So police are on the man, er, woman hunt.
"That's probably the first surrender after breast augmentation surgery we've had," a police officer said.
