Instead of Food, Woman Eats Forks, Spoons

A 52-year-old woman from Rotterdam, Netherlands had a strict diet. Instead of eating the food on her plate, she would eat the silverware instead.

We. Are. No. Kidding.

Margaret Daalman went to a hospital complaining of a stomach ache and when doctors performed an X-ray they found 78 different forks and spoons in her stomach.

"I don't know why but I felt an urge to eat the silverware - I could not help myself," she told surgeons.

Doctors successfully removed the 78 forks and spoons and sent her immediately to a psychiatrist for counseling because she - obviously - has a sick eating disorder.
