The girls of TLC were not playing back in the day. In an interview on Mo'Nique's talk show, T-Boz confessed that she, along with her bandmates (Chilli and the late Left Eye), held Arista President Clive Davis and others hostage after they felt they were being shortchanged.
T-Boz said their album, "Crazy Sexy Cool," brought in more than $75 million for Arista, but the label only paid them $50,000 each!
So, Left Eye -- who, at that time was just released out of jail -- devised a plan.
