A father has been charged with killing his son - execution style - after he admitted to molesting his younger sister.
Jamar Pinkney Jr. was shot in the head Monday by his 37-year-old father, Jamar Pinkney Sr., who allegedly made the teen strip his clothes off and kneel in a vacant lot before he was killed by a single bullet. (This horrific crime took place in Detriot, Michigan.)
The boy's mother, Lazette Cherry, told the Detroit Free Press that Pinkney Sr., showed up at her home after she told him that their son had made a startling confession.
Lazette said the 15-year-old had admitted to having "inappropriate contact" with his 3-year-old half sister.
There wasn’t a rape, she said her son told her. But he confessed that he knew lying on top of the baby was wrong.
"I called and told his father this isn't something you sweep under the rug," she told the paper.
Pinkney Sr. began by pistol whipping his son in the living room where the teen lived with his mother before taking him outside, despite his mother's pleas to stop.
The father marched the naked boy into the lot and made him kneel down. As the boy pleaded for his life -- screaming, "No, Daddy! No!" -- and his mother looked on, Pinkney Sr. executed the boy with a shot in the head.
“There wasn’t nothing that my son wouldn’t do for his father. He loved his father so much," Lazette said.
Pinkney Sr. was charged with first degree murder and if convicted, could spend the rest of his life in prison. He is also charged with three counts of felonious assault and one count of felony firearm.
The son will be buried this Monday.
Update, April 15, 2010: Jamar Pinkney Sr., who was convicted on April 1, has been sentenced to 37 to 80 years in prison.

that is the saddest thing ive ever heard. i had to pause. i hope the dad is dead before long. what if the kid was asking for attention, what if it never happened. even if it did. does'nt matter know does it?
What is going on today? That a father decides to take the life of his son, and a mother sells her daughter as a sex slave. These stories are just reaping my heart apart!
The fact that these things are starting to happen in the black community is whats scary. These are things that have been happening in the white race for as long as I can remember. We are truly living in the end of times.
When I first heard about this I was dumbfounded, being the parent of a small child myself I understand why the father did this but would I have gone as far as to kill him no but God help him had it been my child. This man acted out of pure anger but was protecting his little girl from this ever happening again.
