'American Idol' Fight Ends In Someone Being Charged With Attempted Murder!

A woman is now facing first-degree attempted murder charges after she stabbed her boyfriend after arguing about American Idol.

No, seriously.

According to the St. Petersburg Times, Cynthia E. Bettis-Ware, 52, and her boyfriend Kevin Johnson, 47, were watching American Idol on Tuesday in the motel room where they live when they started to argue over something that happened on the show. Kevin tried to squash the petty argument by changing the channel, but Cynthia just kept on running her mouth, so he decided to go to bed.

Bad idea.

Kevin said he awoke about 11:22pm to crazy Cynthia standing over him with a 10-inch knife. She stabbed him five times in the back and twice in his chest then she scalded him with hot cocoa.

Craziness!

He was somehow able to wrestle the knife away from her, then ran into the parking lot. But crazy Cynthia wanted him dead -- she chased him with another knife!

Cops soon arrived and threw crazy Cynthia in jail.
