Pittsburgh police arrested a man driving with four children early Tuesday morning who admitted that he had smoked crack before getting behind the wheel.

Michael Brown, 39, was pulled over by with four kids in the back seat, according to WPXI News.

“He had pulled out, nearly causing an accident, and he drove at excessive speeds down Broadway Avenue, and I was able to pull him over," said Cmdr. Scott Schubert.

Michael, admitted to smoking crack cocaine earlier, and told police the kids, who ranged in age from 7 to 11 and were not wearing seat belts, did not belong to him and he was taking them to school.

Police also said Michael failed a field sobriety test, and police found three Vicodin pills upon further search of his car.

Officials also said there was so much trash in the station wagon that it took them a while to find the crack pipe.
