Man Showed Up Drunk For DUI Hearing

Jason Botos, who showed up drunk to his court hearing last week to face charges of drunken driving, was sentenced to one year in prison, this afternoon. He was also fined $500 and had his license suspended for 15 years.

Jason's blood-alcohol content was four times the legal limit when he caused a five-car crash back in September. He admitted to police officers that he had been drinking all night and into the day. After making it home, he decided to head back out to the store. He blacked out on the way and caused the accident. One woman, who was on her way to pick up her kids at the zoo, was seriously injured in the crash.

The Nebraska judge said Jason is a danger to society. Um, ya think!
