Elmer McGuirt's good deed has landed him in jail. Shortly before 5pm yesterday, the 27-year-old walked into a Wachovia Bank in Tampa, Florida, handed a teller a note demanding money and told her he had a gun. He then board a city bus and started handing out money to passengers, while stuffing some in his pants. The sheriff’s office contacted the bus driver, who stopped the bus and pretended to have mechanical failure. Elmer was arrested and charged with robbery. As for the money, cops were only able to get some money back from passengers.source
