At the 39th International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products, in Geneva, Switzerland, on Wednesday, Emanuele Lopopolo (of Italy) presented his invention, a portable back rest that allows the user to take a break from standing by leaning back onto a telescopic pole -- or, as it's called, a retractable robotic kangaroo tail. “The kangaroo can rest its weight on its tail, so we’ve made the same thing for humans,” he said. All we want to know is: Does this ridiculous contraption come with a number to a class-action lawsuit attorney because we can only imagine the vast number of broken bones that will result.
