Los Angeles Lakes star Kobe Bryant is under investigation after Thomas Hagos claims the basketball player assaulted him last Sunday -- in church! Thomas tells police Kobe grabbed his cellphone because he thought the man was taking pictures of him and his wife, Vanessa, during services at the St. Therese of Carmel in San Diego, Calif. During the grab-ation, 20-year-old Thomas says he hurt his wrist trying to hold onto the cellphone. Kobe returned the phone once he realized there were no photos of him or his wife on it. Thomas was treated at a local hospital and released. Things could've been worse. The pastor could've began Tasering and stabbing people left and right, but we're glad to hear things didn't elevate to that level. As for Kobe, police say they're "investigating" the matter. Expect Thomas to file a lawsuit seeking monetary damages in, 3, 2,..........
Update: This afternoon Kobe's attorney released this statement saying his client is "aware of the baseless allegations asserted against him, and is prepared to defend against them fully."
