"Do you watch First 48?" That's what Rachel "DeeDee" Jeantel asked defense attorney Don West while on cross-examination Wednesday in the George Zimmerman murder trial, who's charged with murdering her friend (and probable jump off), Trayvon Martin. Rachel, who's 19 years old and is about to be a senior in high school this fall, is the state's star witness, because she was on the phone with Trayvon when he was shot and killed. She was back on the stand Thursday and her testimony was filled with holes, lies, inconsistencies, attitude, comedy and sass. Despite all of her "First 48" knowledge, Rachel probably lost the case for the prosecution.
Here are a few things you need to know about Rachel...
... She hates Don West.

... She hates court 'cause, ain't nobody got time for that!
... She can't read cursive.
... She knows how wet grass sounds.
... She lies.
... She doesn't consider "cracker," when referring to a white person, a racist slur.
... Since she doesn't believe that's a racist slur, she certainly doesn't think the word "retarded" is offensive.
And since "The First 48" is the only thing she watches on TV, aside from the weather, that makes her an expert on criminal investigations.
If you want to know more about her, the folks over at the Smoking Gun has it. They found the day before Rachel took the stand, more than 200 posts were scrubbed from her Twitter account (@MsRachel_94). Most of those tweets referred to drinking, smoking, getting high and a link to a sexually suggestive set of photos.
