Pop star Toni Braxton -- with sister Tamar and her husband Keri Lewis in tow -- came to the Experience to promote an upcoming album. She explained the origins of her sons' names - Denim and Diezel. Wendy asked her about the crop of new talent in the industry. She says while a lot of them are stars, Beyoncé is the most talented and is the best singer. At around this time, "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul was under fire for allegedly sleeping with a former contestant. So, Wendy nominated Toni to take Paula's job. Tamar cosigned. Toni denied rumors that her marriage to Keri was on the rocks. She told Wendy while she loved being married, there are things about being singled that she missed. Wendy and Tamar nominated Toni to take Paula's job. The conversation then turned. Wendy asked her is she's sleeping with Brandy's husband, Robert Smith. She denied the accusations, saying the two are "the best of friends." Tamar did admit to getting a nose job. Around the time of the interview, Towanda Braxton-Carter was arrested in Atlanta and charged with forgery and theft-by-receiving. (She allegedly stole three blank checks from Safeco, an insurance firm where she worked, then attempted to cash one of the forged checks at a liquor store.) The sisters say Towanda refused to talk to the family about the arrest and they don't know any of the details. So being a mess listeners loved, Wendy pulled up the news story and read it from start to finish. Toni, Tamar and Keri were aghast. Toni was in tears.
