After years of drawn-out legal debates and media scrutiny, Roberto Cavalli has been fully cleared of a tax evasion indictment by Italy’s Supreme Court of Cassation. The country’s major court of last resort has annulled the verdict issued by the Appeal Court in Florence on January 21,2008, which convicted the designer to 12 months of imprisonment on charges of fiscal evasion.
