Beyoncè Sings Praises for Barbra Streisand

The stars shone bright last night in DC for the Kennedy Center Honors.

Honored were musician Roger Daltry, musician Pete Townshend, dancer Twyla Tharp, actor Morgan Freeman, singer Barbra Streisand, musician George Jones, country singer George Jones, and Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of the Who.

Beyoncè, who told the LA Times in November: “Barbra Streisand, that's the career model for me, I want to be like her. She is just the ultimate. And I want to be an icon, too," was on hand.

She rose from the floor and sang “The Way We Were”.

The show will be broadcast Dec. 30 on CBS.
