Chris Brown/Rihanna Beat Down: Chris Was Creepin', Rihanna Was Smackin'

Honestly, we are so over this Chris Brown/Rihanna beat down, we think it's time someone in either camp come out and put some of these rumors to rest.

Here's the latest:

- Chris received a text message from another woman and Rihanna became furious:
"He got a booty call. He got a text. Rihanna saw it and she got upset. They started to argue. She got out of the car. He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her. She pulled away. That’s when she’s told people he hit her," a source told the Daily News.

- OK Magazine says Chris was putting the moves on Paris Hilton while Rihanna was on stage performing.
“He and Paris went outside together,” a witness says. “Paris was all over him. Rihanna caught wind of it and spent the rest of the night glued to him.”

- Another report says Chris was trying to holla at British singer Leona Lewis that night at the pre-Grammy's party. A source says, “Rihanna saw Chris flirting. He and Leona were laughing, and Rihanna saw his hand on the small of her back. It was totally innocent, but that set Rihanna off.”

- MTO says Rihanna has a long history of violence, including attacking her brother with a broken bottle AND she regularly beat Chris, and on that night of the legendary Chris beat down, she was striking Chris which caused a car crash resulting in most of her injuries.

- Us Weekly reports that Chris is the aggressor and regularly physically abuse Rihanna. They interview someone who says Rihanna had bruises on her neck in December. When the source asked Rihanna what was going on, the source recalls this: "She told me, 'We broke up again.' I didn't pursue the issue further."

- Jay Z, who discovered Rihanna, is reportedly not happy with Chris. A source tells Us Weekly magazine, “He hit the roof. Chris is a walking dead man. He messed with the wrong crew.”

Chris Brown's career is just about finished. He's lost endorsement contracts, radio statements are refusing to play his music and encouraging fans to shred Chris' CDs, so, his family is doing the rounds and in full damage-control mode.

Chris Brown’s sister, Lytrell Bundy (aka Tootie) tells Extra: “He’s always been a good boy. Never violent.”
How's he coping in light of all the rumors and possible jail time? “He’s doing good. He’s coping… He’s doing as… as to be expected.”

Chris' stylist Mike Bogard is chiming in, too. He tells People:
“He’s a good kid. He feels very bad that something like this has happened.... Chris is a very good kid. I do not know the situation in its full entirety because I was not in the car, but from what I know, Chris and Rihanna’s relationship ... it was real. They loved each other....He’s better off than me if I, or anybody else, was in his situation. Chris is a blessed child. We’ll leave it in God’s hands.”

An unnamed friend added: “You can tell everybody that Chris really feels bad about the whole situation, about it coming out the way that it happened, the way he went about it, the way she went about it … it’s just a whack situation.” The same source went on to say that the situation was “not as bad as everybody is trying to gas it up to be.”

While his friends are supporting him, Chris's step-father thinks he's guilty as hell.

He tells Access Hollywood:
“[Chris] has to take responsibility for his own actions.”

When asked if he believed reports that Chris exacted a beat down on Rihanna, Hawkins said, “I wouldn’t be surprised.”

This is the same Chris accused of beating his mother. In a 2007 interview, Chris said: “He [Hawkins] used to hit my mom… He made me terrified all the time. I remember one night he made her nose bleed. I was crying and thinking, ‘I’m just gonna go crazy on him one day… I hate him to this day.”

Hawkins says Chris' claims are false.
“There was a lot of arguing between his mom and I. I never raised a hand at his mom,” Hawkins said in response. “We (Brown’s mother and I) argued frequently...As far as physical abuse there was no physical abuse.”

Hawkins added, “I spanked Chris one time.”

“I became the bad guy. Chris was really mad at his mom for leaving his dad, so I became the scapegoat,” Hawkins continued. “No matter how much I tried to be a father figure nothing worked.”

We hear Chris has been trying to contact Rihanna, but she has refused to take his calls. (smart)

So, there you have it. This story isn't going anywhere fast, to our chagrin, so we'll provide another update tomorrow.
