Is Joaquin Phoenix High?

Joaquin Phoenix visited with David Letterman last night. He forgot to wash and comb his hair and beard, though.

The entire conversation was a hoot. Joaquin forgot his "Two Lovers" co-star and when asked what the film is about, he didn't know. Plus, he sticks gum under Dave's desk.

And, of course, the two talk about his quitting acting to become a rapper. A decision, Dave, Paul and everyone in the audience found hilarious.
