Mayhem at Mets vs Phillies Game

One would think grown men would know how to carry themselves at a baseball game, especially with so many children around, right? One would think.

At yesterday's NY Mets vs Philadelphia Phillies game, a Mets fan ended up in the hospital after a Phillies fan, allegedly, threw a glass beer bottle at his head and connected.

Beer bottles are not allowed in stadiums, so the verdict is still out as to what the exact weapon was or if it were a bottle, how it got in the stadium.

While the assailant was quickly arrested, 10 rowdy Mets fans were escorted out of the stadium. Plus, Phillies fans were throwing back Mets home run balls back onto the field and they too were ejected.

Tsk. Tsk.
