Woman Marries Boyfriend Who Died a Year Ago

Magali Jaskiewicz married her boyfriend of six years last Saturday - a year after he died.

According to the Daily Telegraph: Magali Jaskiewicz and Jonathan George had planned to get married last November, but he was killed just two days before the ceremony in a motorcycle accident.

Apparently posthumous marriages are legal and binding in France. Well, once "all the formalities for the wedding were completed before one of the partners died, including the setting of a date."

Magali, 32, proved that she and Jonathan were living together and they had a joint bank account.

About 30 family and friends attending the "wedding."
