A British man died as he made his annual Christmas Day visit to his mother's grave -- after slipping on a patch of ice at the cemetery in Manchester, England, the Sun reported.
Jimmy Halpin, 54, was on his way to lay a wreath with his sister Frances when he lost his footing and suffered fatal head and neck injuries.
He was rushed to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Just weeks earlier he lost his wife Ann, 55, to stomach cancer.
