Record producer, rapper and songwriter Shawty Redd (real name: Demetrius Stewart) is charged with murder, after cops say he shot and killed a man in Hampton, Ga. last Friday.
Cops say he initially told them that he shot his friend (35-year-old Damon Martin) accidentally, but after conducting an investigation, they learned the man was killed after an argument that then turned into a fist fight.
Shawty Redd, 28, is currently held without bond in jail. He will appear in court on Jan. 12.
