A German mailman has "married" his fat, asthmatic cat, saying he wanted to tie the knot with the 15-year-old, eight-pound pussy before it lost its final life and died.
"Cecilia is such a trusting creature. We cuddle all the time, and she has always slept in my bed," Uwe Mitzscherlich, 39, said. "Our hearts beat as one - it's unique!"
Because marrying an animal is illegal, Ewe, who was single until marrying Cecilia, paid a television actress to officiate the ceremony. His twin brother, Erik, served as witness.
