A 76-year-old man from Fort Myers, Fla. received at least 100 bites from ants on his thigh and groin last week while he was recovering from heart surgery in the intensive care unit of the Gulf Coast Medical Center. The hospital has since admitted it was pavement ants that made their way into Cornelius Lewis' bed.
