Tracy Morgan Hates Gay People

Last weekend, comedian Tracy Moron, er, Morgan was telling jokes in Nashville, Tennessee, but his constitutional right to free speech quickly turned into hate speech -- again! According to Kevin Rogers, who was at the show, Tracy's standard fare of lewd, chauvinistic commentary came out in force, then his anti-gay/homophobic stance reared its ugly head.
He said that there is no way a woman could love and have sexual desire for another woman, that's just a woman pretending because she hates a f-cking man. He took time to visit the bullsh-t of this bullying stuff and informed us that the gays needed to quit being pussies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying. He mentioned that gay was something kids learn from the media and programming, and that bullied kids should just bust some ass and beat those other little f-ckers that bully them, not whine about it. He said if his son that was gay he better come home and talk to him like a man and not [he mimicked a gay, high pitched voice] or he would pull out a knife and stab that little N (one word I refuse to use) to death. He mentioned that Barack Obama needed to man up and quit being all down with this just because he has a wife and two daughters. All of this being followed by thunderous cheer and "You go Tracys". Tracy then said he didn't fucking care if he pissed off some gays, because if they can take a f-cking d-ck up their ass... they can take a f-cking joke. The sad thing is that none of this rant was a joke. His entire demeanor changed during that portion of the night. He was truly filled with some hate towards us.

During this vitriolic anti-gay rant, Kevin said about a dozen people walked out -- but most stayed. After this story went national, Tracy, who enjoys anal sex, issued an "apology" which read: "I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others. While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context.” Clearly, a publicist wrote that. Tracy is NOT sorry for making the comments, he's sorry that the rest of the world is talking about it and he's concerned it will affect his paper. He shouldn't just apologize to the LGBT community -- he should apologize to everyone because his comments offend everyone. Furthermore, this was not the first time his anti-gay vitriol rubbed concertgoers the wrong way. Almost two years ago while playing NYC's Carnegie Hall, dozens of people walked out. We liked Tracy, but not anymore.

Sidebar: The Human Rights Campaign has tell to put his apology where? Way back there! (no pun intended) “Tracy Morgan exercised extremely poor judgment and he did the right thing by apologizing," Fred Sainz, HRC vice president for communications said. "But that’s just not enough. He’s a role model and Morgan now has a responsibility to make amends for his horribly hurtful and dangerous ‘comedy’ routine. He also needs to go further than his apology and correct the record: no one should feel ashamed because they are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender and they should definitely not become a victim of violence. Words have consequences and Morgan should be held to a higher standard. Until he does something meaningful, his brand will remain tarnished.”
