Woman Jailed For Videotaping Police From Her Front Yard

This is why people hate cops. Last month, 28-year-old Emily Good was videotaping police making a traffic stop from her front yard in Rochester, NY when things got out of control. The officer, claiming he feels threatened, ordered Emily to go into her house; she claimed she has the right to videotape what's happening and therefore, she wasn't leaving her front yard. Then, the cop slapped cuffs on her and hauled her off to jail. She was charged with obstructing governmental administration. In his arrest report, officer Mario Masic wrote that Emily -- who was at leas 15 feet away -- “did make officers extremely nervous and posed an officer safety risk.” By refusing to agree to return inside her home Good “did obstruct our official investigation,” he wrote.
