Vicki Ross, a mother from Chicago says her ex-fiancée choked her 6-year-old son, leaving some nasty marks on the child's neck and shoulders, and prosecutors refuse to file charges because said choker is a Chicago police officer. Vicki says Anthony Abbate caught her son "playing doctor" with his (Anthony's) 5-year-old daughter and lost it. He slammed the boy on a bed and choked him until his face turned red, Vicki says. Oh, prosecutors told Vicki they won't file charges because the 6-year-old child gave inconsistent statements and (we're paraphrasing here) kinda deserved the beatdown because of what he did to the 5-year-old girl.
