50's album pushed waaaay back

"Before I Self-Destruct" the fourth studio album from 50 Cent has been pushed back for a a 2009 release. The album's original drop date was December 16.

We're hearing the album was pushed back because the first single "Get Up", produced by Scott Storch, didn't garner any buzz or interest in a new 50 album at this time. Basically, it sucked.

Interscope, 50's label, says the album was pushed backed because 50 was rushing to meet Dec. 16 date but "with the deadline to secure advertising and retail placement for the album imminent" they thought it would to best to wait until next year.
