DMX is perhaps Arizona's Tent City Jail most famous resident. But that may all change. If fate allow its, Charles Barkley could be joining him for five days.
Won't that be exciting! All the exciting stories they'll share. All the groupies they can ward off together. All the men offering to be their special lady "friend" for a night.
Charles was arrested in Arizona for DUI last New Year's Eve; when cops pulled him over, he told them he was speeding because he was on his way to receive a professional. Plus he also offered to tattoo the arresting officer's name on his ass, if he just let him go with a warning.
He pled guilty yesterday and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, which would be reduced to five if he enters an alcohol rehab program, and must pay $2,000 in fines.
He is currently scheduled to serve his time at the Lower Buckeye detention facility in Phoenix, but that could all change. We all know what a publicity whore Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who runs Tent City, is.
Meanwhile....
T-Pain and his Vocoder device are skipping a planned show in Guyana after he received death threats.
What? Who wants to kill T-Pain and, more importantly, why?
Anyhoo, he was scheduled to play the Mashramani festival, which celebrates Guyana’s independence from Britain, but the show’s promoter canceled the event after receiving what he said were “credible death and kidnapping threats” against T-Pain via e-mail messages and telephone calls.
Is T-Pain that huge a star?
