Adnan Ghalib, the infamous paparazzi photographer and ex-boyfriend of Britney Spears, faces a jail sentence and could be deported to Afghanistan if he is found guilty of some assault charges, reports Britain's Daily Mail.
The 36-year-old is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, hit-and-run and battery.
Adnan made headlines most recently when Jamie Spears, the pop star's father, decided to issue a restraining order against him.
The charges he now faces stem from an incident on Feb. 11 in LA when a court official attempted to serve Adnan with the restraining order.
Adnan allegedly tried to run over the official in his car, which brought in a slew of new charges.
Adnan moved to Birmingham, England, from Afghanistan with his family when he was 5-years-old and works in the US, but if he is listed as Afghani in the legal papers, he could be sent back to the tumultuous country.
