A private investigator claiming to have "obtained and/or recovered certain tapes that were said to incriminate" R Kelly has filed suit against the singer.
In a lawsuit filed last week in Missouri, Charles Freeman claims he was hired during Kelly's trial to retrieve tapes relevant to the singer's 'child pornography case' which he was exonerated of 14 charges, including having sex with a minor and videotaping himself engaging in sexual intercourse with a girl as young as 13 years old.
According to Freeman, Kelly never paid him for the job and owes at least $300,000 plus interest.
