Miss Calif. Loses Miss USA Crown When She's Forced to Think
There is all sort of backlash ever since 21-year-old Carrie Prejean, Miss California, opened her mouth and proclaimed she's against gay marriage last Sunday at the Miss USA pageant.
Although we support same-sex marriage, we believe people are entitled to think and have their own opinions.
Perez Hilton, who was a judge asked: "Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?"
Carrie responds with: "Well I think it's great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land that you can choose same sex marriage or opposite marriage and, you know what, in my country and in, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman."
Sadly, though, that answer - along with the booing (a pageant first) - cost her the crown.
As a judge, Perez and the others have the right to score her as they deem fit. If they didn't like her answer they have the ability to score low, if they did, score high.
No offense, Carrie.
Now look down!

What is the difference between her standing on stage and stating that she believes in same sex marriages and what she did say. She was asked for a response. Would they rather her lie. Perez says she lost because of her answer. He needs to get a life. She has just as much right to believe her way as he believes his. This is what's wrong with the system. People stand up and whine and complain about not having equal rights, but these same people will step all over someone's else's right! I got more respect for Ms. California than perez.
If you don't want someone's belief or opinion don't ask for it. We are not robots that all believe the same way some of us are not of this world we are in this world until our Lord calls us home. AMEN May God Bless and Keep you Carrie!!
I think that was a bullshit question.
