Sale of Men's Pink Underwear Up by 62%!

Jockey reports the sale of it's pink - and other brightly-colored - briefs are selling like hotcakes.

The company claim that sales of their colored Y-front briefs have rocketed by an average of 60% over the last six months - and the baby pink pairs have sold more than any other, seeing a 62% boost in sales over the past three months.

The surge in sales is a result of the dark, gloomy economy.

"When the economy’s gloomy, shoppers tend to make small, often unconscious, decisions in their consumer habits," says Ruth Stevens, brand manager at Jockey Underwear. "Men may feel out of control during the recession so they make small choices which may lighten their mood and one of these is evidently choosing brighter underwear."

Interesting.

awww shi... a trend is indeed developing.. see these men today are so femme it's disgusting. the marlboro man days are over yet i wish they'd come back. the real man needs to stand up and be counted. tired of the skinny, femme, poser, hipster, scene, emo look that many guys like to sport today.
