Usher Files for Divorce

After dodging breakup rumors for months, Usher and his wife Tameka Foster have reportedly called it quits.

“In Touch can exclusively reveal that Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster, are divorcing….And the insider says that it’s more than just talk — the divorce papers were filed in Atlanta this morning," the magazine said in their exclusive report.

The magazine also lists a source as claiming the two have “been living apart from his wife for nearly a year after almost two years of marriage" and "Usher’s primary concern is for his children. He is a great father and just wants to do what is right for them.”

The couple has reportedly been having problems for a long time. Last November Usher rushed to Tameka's side after she had complications with plastic surgery in Brazil. Apparently he “had no idea that she was there to have surgery.”

Usher has not responded and Tameka, who is a tweeting machine, has not addressed it.

This marriage was shaky from the beginning. If you recall, Usher canceled their lavish Long Island wedding the day before it was scheduled to take place. But, he finally agreed to marry Tameka - during a private ceremony in his lawyer’s office in Atlanta. It's also been alleged that Tameka has come between Usher and his mother, Jonetta Patton, whom has been managing him for years. Tameka supposedly talked Usher into firing his mom. That decision proved costly because his career sunk. Eventually, her rehired his mother, who, might have talked sense into her son and urged him to get rid of Tameka.
