Batman and Superman Fight NYC Cops in Times Square. Really.

In a battle between Batman and Superman against the New York Police Department who do you think would win?

The answer to that hypothetical question was answered yesterday.

Batman (Frank Frisoli) and Superman (Maksim Katsnelson) decided to dress up and head to Times Square to have a "good time" and make some money. But when cops asked it they had the required license to perform in costume in public (who knew?). They didn't. Cops asked for their IDs. Which they didn't have either.

As cops began to handcuff Batman, Superman ran off, screaming: "I'm not getting arrested."

When cops caught up with him, what did he do? Punch a female officer in the face!

Not surprising, cops sprung to action and wrestled him to the floor.

"The Man of Steel didn't go down with just two officers, it took seven officers!" witness Ryan McCormick said. "He was putting up a good fight. Little kids were like, 'Mommy, it's Superman!' "

"He freaked out and punched the girl cop in the face," said Batman, who was cuffed Batman to a chair, but later released because he didn't cause any problems.

Superman, however, was not so lucky. He was arrested and charged with assault and resisting arrested.

Batman left the scene with his friend, the Statue of Liberty.

So, kids, in this case. In a battle between Batman, Superman and the NYPD, the NYPD won.
