Fired 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Star Develops Her Own Reality Show

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" ex-castmate DeShawn Snow is moving on with her life, but the TV cameras will be part of it.

DeShawn, who was in essence fired from the "Housewives" reality show for being a donkey and too "human for a circus show", is developing a reality show of her own.

But this show is much kinder and gentler: No one will be bussin' lips and poppin' eyes.

“It’s a show that will help women who have made mistakes and put them on a path to a better future," she told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“No one will be voted off either,” Snow added. “But the women will all live in the same house. I know that drama sells and the drama will originate with everyone living under the same roof. But I’m confident that people want to see a reality show with a focus on the positive. One of the other ['Real Housewives'] girls criticized me saying, ‘Oh, DeShawn is too busy trying to save the world.’ I refuse to look at that as a bad thing.”

A show devoted to empowering women? Although it's a noble concept, we're cynics are people want to watch the drama - hence the reason those "housewives" contracts were renewed and their salaries increased; they made a reported $100,000 for the new season which premiers July 30.
