Remember those overpriced sneakers Kanye was releasing with Louis Vuitton? Well, they were supposed to be in stores last spring, but won't be in stores until "late 2009", according to Racked.
Who in their right mind is willing to shell out $1140 for a pair of sneakers that you can only wear for one season? Spoiled brats and sneakerheads, probably. Do you think Louis Vuitton is delaying the release to shore up security at stores to deal with crowd control? Unlikely.
Update:
We hear the UK's gone mad over Kanye's sneakers, which were released there on Monday. Harrods and other retailers have sold out of the overpriced kicks.
