Katherine Jackson Claims Michael Was Left to Die

Michael Jackson’s mother has claimed that her son may have been left to die when a doctor fell asleep after pumping powerful sedative drugs into him.

Katherine Jackson broke down when she heard that her son had been using drugs, according to family friend Dr Steven Hoefflin.

She is angry that doctors working for Michael were able to give him drugs in the run up to his death last month.

It is claimed that the singer demanded prescription medication after bouts of insomnia and leg pain ahead of his 50-gig run at The O2 Arena in London.

Yesterday Dr Hoefflin, a world famous plastic surgeon, spoke of Katherine's anguish and belief that physician Dr Conrad Murray could have fallen asleep after administering Propofol.

"To me, his family, and everyone who knew him, this is like the Twilight Zone," he told the Sun newspaper.

“I have seen documents listing the drugs Michael was taking and shared details with the Jackson family.

"It is horrifying reading and deeply upsetting. Katherine broke down and cried when I told her about the drugs listed in his medical records.

“It is Katherine's wish that any doctors who harmed Michael be brought to justice.”

It is believed Michael was taking large doses of Demerol for his pain and each night doctors intravenously administered the sedative Propofol to induce sleep.

His comments came as investigators probing the singers death raided the offices of his doctor and seized documents.

Officials from the Drug Enforcement Administration spent two-and-a-half hours at Dr Murray's clinic in Houston, Texas, and left with 21 documents and a "forensic image" of a computer hard drive.
