Aparently after the money dries up, washed up rappers turn to a life of petty crime. Last week this former rapper was arrested for holding up a discount store, now it's being reported that T.T. Tucker (who?) was nabbed in New Orleans on Monday for stealing 200 cartons of cigarettes.
Surveillance cameras were rolling as 41-year-old TT Tucker (real name: Kevin Ventry) and his three accomplices -- John Glenn Tillman, 51, a woman identified only by her street name Sizzlin’ and an unidentified man -- robbed the store of the cigarettes, worth about $8,000, and a case of whiskey.
Cops say TT and his co-horts are part of a cigarette-stealing gang that rob stores of the cancer sticks then resell the stolen cancer sticks to other stores.
The former "rapper" was also involved in a 2008 robbery where $10,000 worth of cigarettes were stolen.
TT Tucker (pictured above, left) and John (pictured, right) have been charged with burglary and theft; Sizzlin' and the other man are still on the loose.
New Orleans media outlets are reporting that TT was a "rapper", but we're not familiar with his work -- aside from his work as a thief, as seen in this surveillance footage.
