13-year-old Boy Raped Woman in Front of Friends, Says Sorry

Balal Khan, at 14, is perhaps Britain's youngest convicted rapist. When he was 13 he knocked down a 20-year-old woman as she walked home, and raped her while two of his friends watched. After pleading guilty to charges of rape and robbery he was sentenced to just three years because of his age - and because he said "sorry."

According to the testimony, Balal subjected the woman to a severe beating then screamed at her "Do what I say or I'll kill you," before raping her, reports the Daily Mail.

Then he stole her bag and phone and even took a call from his victim's boyfriend to whom he bragged about what he had done.

The judge heard how Balal ran up behind his victim and grabbed her around the neck as she walked through a park last September.

He punched and kicked her as she lay on the ground before raping her.

"She started screaming and attempted to get to her feet. He responded by punching her in the mouth and knocked her back on the ground. He stood over her and kicked her to the side of her face. He started shouting at her and warned that if she struggled he would 'kill' her," prosecutors say.

Cops found him because she used the victim's phone -- which he later sold - to call his mother.

BTW: The audience Balal had -- his two friends who were 10 and 11 -- said they told him to stop.
