Man Pleads Guilty to Having Sex With Horses

A man who was arrested last October after months of consistently engaging in sex acts with a horse on a farm in Tennessee pleaded no contest Monday to having sex with animals.

The Maury County sheriff's office said 58-year-old James Michael Tait (pictured, left) was sentenced to 10 years of probation after he was convicted of five counts of criminal offenses against animals. The farm owner, 44-year-old Kenny Thomason (pictured, right), who was aware of the bestiality, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal offenses against animals and was given two years of probation.

This was not the first time James has been arrested after having sex with animals, which also includes dogs.

In Oct. 2005 he was arrested after videotaping Kenneth Pinyan having sex with a horse at an Enumclaw, Wash., farm. (Kenneth suffered a perforated colon and later died at the hospital.)

James told police that he, Kenneth and another man repeatedly sneaked onto his neighbor's farm in the middle of the night, without permission, to engage in sex with the horses.

Because of the state's laws, though, authorities could only charge him with trespassing. He pleaded guilty, served a year of probation and paid a $300 fine.

Authorities said the Enumclaw farm involved in the bestiality death was well-known on the Internet. Investigators found hundreds of hours of videotaped evidence, but there was no evidence of injury to the horses involved, so no animal-cruelty charges were ever filed.

James, his friends and this South Carolina man who was caught having sex with the same horse twice must not know that walruses have bigger penises. Just saying.
