Man Pleads Guilty to Raping Elderly Women

A 21-year-old man was sentenced Tuesday to 30 years in prison for raping two elderly women while he was a teen under state supervision, reports Balitimore Sun.

Dwayne Price pleaded guilty to raping a 73-year-old woman in her Baltimore home in 2005, then stealing $3 from her purse. He also pleaded guilty to raping an 88-year-old woman in her home in 2007, after posing as a cable company employee to gain entry; he then stole $2 from her. According to court documents, the 88-year-old woman managed to use her medical alarm. When someone called to check on her, Dwayne told them everything was fine, leaving his voice as a means of identification; He also left his underwear at the crime scene.

He had been arrested at least 11 times by the time he was 18 and had escaped custody twice.

For the guilty plea this week, he received 60-year sentences in each case, with all but 15 years suspended. The terms are to run consecutively.
