Man Saws Off Legs...And Now He's Dead

A coroner says a Kansas couple died last week after the man suffocated his wife and then cut his legs with an electric saw and bled to death.

Police discovered the bodies of 36-year-old Jose Angel Rodriguez and 39-year-old Alicia Rodriguez in their home Wednesday while responding to a missing persons report.

The coroner ruled the deaths a murder-suicide, saying Jose first suffocated his wife with a pillow before cutting his own legs off with an electric saw and bleeding to death.

The bodies were discovered by police after breaking down the door when co-workers became suspicious when the couple missed several days of work.
