Usually, you'll have the occasional fistfight at a wedding or people committing a real sin, but when the bride tries to mow down her new husband's ex-girlfriend -- along with her son -- then, that's something.
According to Hyannis, Mass. police, Marissa Ann Putignano-Keene, 22, and Timothy Keene, 37, said they had just gotten married and drank a bottle of Champagne.
After the ceremony, the couple was driving through a parking lot when they spotted the woman and her son. According to the woman, Marissa then rolled down the driver’s side window and began cursing and using sexually-charged language at her.
As she and her son were walking away when she heard the car engine roar and saw the car heading directly towards them, causing them to jump out of the way. She said Marissa then backed the car up, turned and in the process crashed into a fence.
Marissa was also with disorderly conduct and injury to property and taken into protective custody. Timothy was charged with disorderly conduct and taken into protective custody.
But, wait! The couple has had a history of problems. According to police, Marissa is mentally impaired and the groom is a Level 2 sex offender. She lives in a car while he lives in a homeless shelter.
Now, they live in jail. Well, at least for that one night. They're out on bail.
