Teachers Suspended for 'Mocking' Black History Month

Three (white) teachers at an elementary school in South Los Angeles have been suspended for honoring OJ Simpson, Dennis Rodman and RuPaul during Black History Month. (Other notable black role models, including Nelson Mandela, Harriet Tubman, Scott Joplin, Sam Cooke, and President Barack Obama were also honored.) We sorta the possible outrage over OJ and Dennis Rodman, but RuPaul? What did she do? Well, she did threaten to cut LL Cool J, but that's hardly a reason why she shouldn't be lauded as a black role model. Ring the alarm: Get GLAAD on the case!
